Tsinghua University Education Foundation

Tsinghua University Education Foundation (TUEF), founded in 1994, is a national non-public foundation established with the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China. It is the first university education foundation established after the founding of the People's Republic of China. In December 2019, it was again rated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China as an "AAAAA Social Organization", which is the highest certification of foundations granted by the country. The purpose of TUEF is to promote the development of educational cause of Tsinghua University, improve educational quality and academic level, strengthen the relation between the university and society, and strive for supports and donations from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals. TUEF accepts the voluntary donations of domestic and foreign enterprises, social organizations and individuals.
